Beechwood Park Update

Although Councillor Fonseca announced at our AM in May that work on Beechwood Park would take place this summer, it became apparent that there was no evidence that any work was underway by August. 

At our request, Fonseca clarified that apparently, the plan has changed:

• The playground is currently in design and is scheduled for construction in 2026.

• The playground redevelopment will include:

• a new play structure with engineered wood fiber surface and seating

• Signage will be updated to reflect the changes in timeline
