We hope you enjoy receiving your copy of the Rockwood Times, navigating our website, and keeping in touch through our social media outlets. Many of our residents have told us they find these great vehicles to keep in touch with what is happening in our community. Our email updates giving information on how and when to get a vaccine has been greatly appreciated.
While our modes of communication are funded in part by our advertisers, we need your help in ensuring that we can not only continue to publish quarterly, but also to fund other community initiatives. Last year we donated $2000 to a local charity to assist our neighbours.
Every resident of Rockwood Village is an eligible member of the Rockwood Residents' Association (RRA). Like every association, we look to our members to help us in covering expenses and invest in future activities through a membership fee. Last year, in the early stages of the pandemic, we chose not to burden our membership with our regular membership drive. We are, however thankful to those who have reached out voluntarily, both last year and this year and sent their membership fee through an e-transfer, or dropped in off in a Board member’s mailbox.
We hope to see everyone renew their $10 membership this year to help keep the RRA thriving. Your RRA is committed to working with The City, the Region and the Province to ensure that Rockwood enjoys the benefits and services that a premier community deserves. Your support will assist us in ensuring that Rockwood Village remains the most desirable community in East Mississauga.
If you have sent us your membership fee in December 2020, or this year we thank you. If you have not, please send your $10 prior to May 15th by e-transfer to: [email protected]. If you do not use e-transfer, drop us a note at the same email address and we will give you a street address where it can be delivered.
