Update on Garnetwood Park Spray Pad
We have been informed by Virginia Kalapaca, Project Leader, of Park Development at the City of Mississauga, that construction for the spraypad in Garnetwood Park will start this week (July 30th)!
Since the construction is delayed, this means the use of this amenity will be unusable until the Summer of 2022. It is safe to say that we are disappointed about this. With that said, we have sent a letter to Councillor Fonseca, Ms. Kalapaca, and Acting Commissioner of Community Services Jodi Robillos about our disappointment about the delay and the fact that there was no communication about this delay to our community.
