The leaves are falling and we’re getting ready for the holiday season! Rockwood Village is a beautiful sight at this time of year. Just a reminder that Nov. 21 - Nov. 25 is the last week of curbside Vacuum Leaf Pickup. This program is jointly funded by the City of Mississauga and the Region of Peel.
Back in September, the Ontario Realty Corp. (ORC) presented a Notice of Application to the City’s Committee of Adjustment to put the parcel of lands located at Audubon Blvd. and Fieldgate Dr. up for sale. Neighbours from Audubon Blvd. attended the meeting to voice their concerns. Although the Notice was accepted, RHA will continue to work with the Councillor and will keep you updated on future public planning meetings.
RHA has received complaints related to noise from night construction and trucks parking overnight at Rockwood Mall. If you have been affected, please send the details to the board at [email protected].
The last few months have seen a number of Citizen Engagement opportunities. Recently, RHA attended the City’s Communication Master Plan which is a ten year plan that will provide recommendations to Council on how best to support communications between the City and its citizens. As well, RHA has been actively involved with MIRANET, working on various subcommittees. For more information, visit www.miranet.ca
